How to submit poems to SOUTH We consider previously unpublished poems in English in any style, but please study the magazine before submitting. A complimentary copy is sent to successful poets. We do not accept translations. You may submit a maximum of 3 poems per issue. You must provide 2 copies of each poem. Your name/address or other identifying details must not appear on the the front or back of the manuscript. Deadlines are 31 May for the Autumn issue and 30 November for the Spring issue the following year. You may submit work at any time. Successful poets will be contacted about 8 weeks following the closing date. We do not accept submissions by email. Please use the form provided on this site. Click the Submission form option on the menu to the left. The form has all the necessary information for submitting to SOUTH.
